Defending NCAA Division III indoor champion UW-Oshkosh finished second in the six-team North Central College Cardinal Women s Track & Field Opener held Friday (Jan. 23) in Naperville, Ill.

The WIAC selected UW-Oshkosh's Jecel (Gerner) Klotz as one of its two Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Week award winners.

Former UW-Oshkosh student-athletes Jim Gantner and Melissa Mueller along with coach Russ Tiedemann have been selected for induction into the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Hall of Fame.
